PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile Lite will stop working in India from today
PUBG Mobile was discontinued in India last month with 117 Chinese apps. It included both PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite.
Following the government order, PUBG Mobile has been removed from the Google Play Store and App Store. However, this game could be played by those who had already installed it in their phones. Now PUBG Mobile has announced that the app will stop working in India from today itself.
On Thursday late evening, PUBG Mobile announced on its Facebook page that from October 30, 2020, Tencent Games for all users in India PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: All services for Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite (both PUBG Mobile) And access will be terminated.

PUBG Mobile has also highlighted that it has protected user privacy and data. The Government of India had banned PUBG Mobile and other Chinese apps due to privacy and security threats.
It has also been added in this post that the rights to publish PUBG Mobile in India will also come back to PUBG Corp. With Tencent Games turning off server access, PUBG Mobile will also stop working for users who were able to play it even after the game was banned.

The game is expected to stop working with a VPN connection as well, however, it cannot be confirmed yet.
